For 10 years, through Eventorum, we have been working within the naval environment, more specifically in cruise ships, with the brand Technical Eventorum, today ABAFT. As a result, we acquired valuable know-how, which we decided to make available in another market and launched Byssinum.
Byssinum is an interior design proposal for yachts and superyachts.
Full of enthusiasm, we bought a boat as a laboratory for technical tests and materials, we attended the Metstrade Fair in Amsterdam to connect with suppliers and new techniques, we visited all the Spanish ports to get to know this new market and we participated in the Düsseldorf Boat Show to learn about prices, trends, brands, styles and designs. Recently, we set up our office in the Marina del Este Port.
The name originates from the Latin byssinwhich means fine linen or silk. Because, in the past, many people wore this fabric, which represented a certain level of social prestige and status. The addition of "umis our hallmark that derives from the many words that this language uses in its language, such as "memorandum". Thus, Byssinum en "made of sea silk"..
Our mission is to contribute to the maintenance, design and decoration of pleasure boats on the Costa del Sol, Costa Tropical and Almeria coast so that the only concern of their owners is to enjoy the sea.
